Windmill Cottage is one of the cottages at King Parrot Cottages & Event Centre located in the Otway Ranges, nestled on the north-facing hillside of the spectacular Pennyroyal Valley, consisting of five other cottages. Windmill has a kitchen, living areas which open out onto an inviting deck area. The bathroom is on the middle level and a spacious double bedroom with a king size bed is on the lower level. Private outdoor dining area with Weber BBQ. Communal pool, games room, gym and sauna. Windmill Cottage has natural light enhancing the polished recycled timbers upstairs which houses the kitchen and living areas opening out onto an inviting deck area through double doors. The bathroom is on the middle level and a spacious double bedroom with a luxurious king size bed with crisp white sheets a warm doona on the lower level. Windmill has a private outdoor dining area with Weber BBQ. King Parrot Cottages and Event Centre has a wide range of communal activities at your finger-tips; the salt water swimming pool, small gym, games room with table tennis, fuse ball, air hockey, darts, board games plus outdoor field games, suitable for all ages, farm animals and yabbying in the dam. King Parrot has stunning valley and bush views with plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy including some hammocks around the property. A fire pit can be bought to your cottage upon request. Outdoor fire wood is available to purchase or you are welcome to bring your own. Use of fire pits are weather dependent and seasonal. King Parrot Cottages and Event Centre has an infrared sauna. Bookings and payment to be made through our website. A communal outdoor salt water pool, games room, small gym and its own private bush walking tracks including waterfall are onsite. Bush-walking tracks and waterfalls abound in the immediate vicinity and within close reach are the beautiful beaches along the Great Ocean Road, the wonders of the Otway National Park and the gourmet trail of berry farms, fine foods and farm produce. We are onsite or close by, however we may be out on the property at times feeding animals or doing maintenance. If reception is unattended we are just a phone call away. Please note that we live up to our name as a bush retreat. End of valley privacy is protected by 4km winding gravel road, steep in sections. You do not need 4WD but you do need to be comfortable driving on gravel roads.
